In 1960, a Washington businessman named Oscar Goldstein had a couple of McDonald `s decided to invest in a TV program called" Bozo's Circus. "The issue was led by a clown named Bozo. Goldstein took him to their premises and the children went to buy burgers to see Bozo. When the television station that produces the program did not renew the contracts, the businessman hired the actor who played Bozo Willard Scott to invent a new clown in specially designed premises. It was the direct ancestor of Ronald.Ronald McDonald was very different. He had a bag of chips in the head and instead of wearing a clown nose glass of soda and everything indicated that perceived Kroc there's an interesting idea, considering that experience, decided to introduce the figure of "The burger clown" throughout the United States. No hired Willard Scott was considered too fat to make Ronald.
The new Ronald no longer spoke, and in the air on a flying hamburger. His enemy was a Mr. Muscle and lived in McDonalandia.
Many people work full time under the Ronald McDonald costume, visiting children in hospitals. There are also Ronald McDonald Houses (Ronald McDonald House Charities), where parents can spend the night visiting sick children in nearby chronic care services.
Since August 2003, McDonald has been officially named as the "Chief Happiness" McDonald's Corporation.McDonald's Corporation has also characterized Ronald McDonald as being able to speak 31 different languages, including Mandarin, Dutch, Tagalog, and Hindi. In recent years, McDonaldland been largely eliminated, and Ronald, however, shows interaction with normal children in their daily lives.
